Ah. I think some of his earlier stuff was hindered by an extra-cold narrative style and the impulse to fit as many syllables into a measure as possible. Skelethon was the first album of his that clicked all the way through for me.

Heard this track on Radio Fenriz -- the greatest work soundtrack of all time. Retroactively bummed with the fact that I missed them at Roadburn, because they sound like Master Musicians of Bukkake meets Indian, and if that sounds fucking rad to you, that's because it is.
