Bucking the trend ... seems like there's a lot of downsizing lately, just as I finished building a bigger board. :)

I like and use small compact boards that are easy to carry and take up minimal floor space, but this one is for experiments and general noise making at home, don't plan to move it much.

I like your spaceship! What's the signal chain? How're you using midi? I plan on building a bigger setup this year and midifying everything.

The question in itself triggered the minimalists to show themselves, so it's okay

I had some fun planning this and made drawings to see how it would all fit.
Not a little nerdy but it helped when wiring the thing. :)

Loops in the ES-8 can be in any order per preset while the HEX loops are fixed.

The MIDI possibilities are endless, the ES-8 and the Reflex pedal can control
just about anything that responds to CCs. And program changes of course.

And the Reflexes as well as the ES-8 do analog expression control too.

THOSE DIAGRAMS! How does your clean signal sound on the other end? Seems like there might be some signal loss after going through all those loops?

I was planning on using multiple loops via the patchulator, but a midi controller like that might work a lot better! I was already planning on using a moltenvoltage tempode for clock and start/stop midi signals, but I was going to use a patchulator for the loops because I didn't plan on changing the signal very often. That setup looks like it was a bit of a pain to build, but that is amazing!!!

The signal is fine, it only goes through active loops after all. And if you activate all loops then perfect signal quality is not really a concern in the overall mayhem. :)

when someone on the internet has more advanced diagrams over their pedal board than you have for your thesis paper :picard:

Yeah I've been using a patchulator for switching loops and routing, but I'm thinking of dropping it for something like this (although its super nice to run synths and stuff through pedals too). Whatever, if it sells, it sells, if it doesn't, i have no problem keeping it.
