Next time I'm in Myrtle Beach I'll stop by one of those air brushing places and have them make one up for you

The Oarfish EP is five tracks of heavy, instrumental doom on the topic of sunken cities and nature doing whatever the fuck it wants. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this release, especially in making instrumental music that could stand on its own. It's kind of a mix of things I love, featuring both heavy simplicity and complex oddity. There are riffs and a lot of 'em! It was written, played and produced by me in my "studio" (i.e. living room).

unless you live in australia and the clubs/pubs that you do gigs at are tiny shit holes, that only have a mic for vocals...
Ah yes, but then there's the cranky Ozrock/mid 2000s Emocore sound guy to contend with who'll tell you some shit about a decibel rating and tell you that you either can't use all that or to turn it down anyway. Because a line 6 pod is sufficient. That's all he uses in his sick madcore band brah.
WWPD?

Yeah basically...nothing mic'd and the guy that runs the place tells you to turn it down...

Yeah, we still play a lot of diy/small shows where the only PA support is for vocals.
I can count on one hand the number of times I've played shows with full PA support over the last 20 years. I guess it depends on where you live/tour. Personally my experience with actual clubs and festivals are pretty few and far between.
Doom blogging: the PVY VTM I bought still sounds amazing to me a couple weeks later. I can't imagine it without the bright cap removed since the sweet spot for the treble knob is still at 4.
I also just picked up an Enormous Door Jinn fuzz - like I needed another fuzz pedal - and I recommend it for people who feel like their current fuzz pedals are sounding too smooth. The Jinn is very textured and sputtery even without the octave switch turned on. Depending on what diode you have switched in it can get pretty extreme. It's a nice break from muff style fuzzes.
Hey Washington folks, we (druden) are playing tonight in Oly at obsidian and tomorrow in Seattle at the black lodge. Come out and get weird and hang out. Meant to post earlier, but I've been busy as shit.

Well, my homie just sold me his sweet ass monson for practically nothing after our show in Oly last night. So stoked. Good trip so far. Playing Seattle tonight. Stoked to hang with Darren and ax.
