One of my dream guitars is a fanned fret, 7-string offset guitar. Like a jazzmaster on steroids. I don't do the Chugs, but the 7th string allows me to do cool chord voicings.

I agree that ERGs are great for creating deep, resonant chord voicings, and have often played clean, jazzy dreampop and pseudo-nu-gaze with them .... in addition to dur-jent moments here and there. I've owned a series of 7 and 8-string guitars in recent years and am gravitating more toward 7-strings tuned to drop A as of late. This will be my first fanned fret guitar and one of many Agile guitars I've played. I'm guessing the neck will be the perfect width, but have no idea how the angled frets will feel or if a luthier at a local shop will be able to set it up correctly.

OMG amazing! Sweet piece of kit!
Shouldn't watch knobs videos, I'd been out of the GAS game but now I want a WA Julia something fierce. I've wanted a vibrato for so long but always forget about them. That's gone..

This ugly and mistreated CX-3 has arrived on Thursday. One of the previous owners did a very bad paint job and the tolex and the "Hammond" sticker didn't make it better. But overall it works pretty good. I already have a double manual KORG BX-3 in MUCH better condition and I only bought this ugly monster by accident, because it went for a very low price at eBay.
I'm going to clean the organ and remove the horrible paint job - I will try to do a better one.
