Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
Thanks bud. We are crazy pumped about that fest. There are still a few more bands to be confirmed (if these are you kinds of music, you're going to be pleased with the final announcements), but folks are already booking flights and hotels. Looking forward to hitting the PNW again.
KHEMMIS. Doomed heavy metal. DECEIVER out 11/19/21 on Nuclear Blast.
GLACIAL TOMB. Misanthropic death/black/sludge. S/t debut out now on Gilead Media.
Good deals with: Ancient Astronaught, conky, crohny, D-Day, Corey Y, ryan summit, tons more here and on HCFX under this username

Purple is cool.
How about purple on black OR black on purple in the Master of Reality font?
Didn't find the MoR font (didn't look that hard either). This is done in the unmodified Volume 4 font.
AxAxSxS wrote:That purple is growing on me, my first thought was that the colors should be reversed, but now I'm thinking no, that's just what they'd expect us to do.
Is the 12.99 price solid? count me in if yes.
Yeah, I immediately though purple on black, but pretty much every Sabbath shirt is like that. You can actually get it in several other colors - gray, green, white, blue, red...and BLACK ON FUCKING BLACK BECAUSE METAL. It just defaults to purple since that's the first color I chose.
Don't know what you mean about the price though - like will it increase if not enough people want them? I can apparently set the price to 13.50 and they will print any number of them, but the price won't change otherwise - either 10 people order them and we all get billed, or nobody gets them....in which case I'll probably relaunch that shit for 13.50 and at least get a couple for myself.
Edit - fucked around with the website and found the actual unit cost and updated price accordingly. New price is 10.99.

Dude, we should totally ape the Volume 4 cover with Tony instead of Ozzy on it.
That Migration Fest looks bad ass.

So, we can start a violent mob about the guy who suggested Mob Rules.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
Just finished the first EP with my solo project Oarfish. It's even got, like, cover art and stuff!

The Oarfish EP is five tracks of heavy, instrumental doom on the topic of sunken cities and nature doing whatever the fuck it wants. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this release, especially in making instrumental music that could stand on its own. It's kind of a mix of things I love, featuring both heavy simplicity and complex oddity. There are riffs and a lot of 'em! It was written, played and produced by me in my "studio" (i.e. living room).
Grab it for free (or pay what you want) here: https://oarfish-band.bandcamp.com/album/ep
Or stream on SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/oarfish-band/sets/oarfish-ep
Anyway, enjoy!

The Oarfish EP is 40 minutes of heavy, instrumental doom on the topic of sunken cities and nature doing whatever the fuck it wants. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this release, especially in making instrumental music that could stand on its own. You can tream it here: https://soundcloud.com/oarfish-band/sets/oarfish-ep. Currently streaming only, working on setting up downloads. Though I have no clue what format people want digital downloads in nowadays.
Anyway, enjoy!
Will check it out when we slow down at work. If you set it up on bandcamp then people can download it into whatever format they like.

Downside being I'd have to charge for it. As far as I can tell, bandcamp has a download limit? Planning this as a freebie to get the word out.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
You can set bandcamp to 'name your price' with no minimum, and you can change the price on each record very painlessly.
Personal jams spam example:
https://escapecraft.bandcamp.com/album/u-s-t
The download limit is something like 250 a month for free accounts.
speaking as an avid seeker of new music (as are most of us) I expect a bandcamp link. It feels like the the de facto music display for me?

Sure, I buy a lot on Bandcamp too. Well then, I'll set that up! 250 a month probably is more than I think.
