That was the dude I got it from...

The switch goes between opamps similar to what would be used in a rat and a tube screamer I believe. Neither sounds like either.

The floating board is the second opamp, which is what I assume makes it the special extra loud one. It has some similarities to the fuzz Overloader that I have (which is a variant). The octave drone circuit itself is actually lower gain than the more modern ones but much more usable. There is an oscillating drone that you can dial in with the drone knob (which, I assume, is like a gate of feedback loop).
