I believe I read that the NanoPOG is using different technology to do the octaves vs. Micro/Standard. Pitchfork is also probably worth a shot. I suspect if you're just doing standard octaves you probably can't go wrong with any of the Micro/Nano/Pitchfork. Pitchfork has expression pedal capabilities which may give it some superiority.

Thanks, i'll see if i can find some comparison ov the Micro POG vs Nano POG. I'll skip the Pitchfrok because it doesn't have that extra Dry OUT that the other two have, and right now it could be really useful for the signal path i have in my mind. Also the NANO was appealing because it is really small..and that means more space for other stuff, which is never a bad idea.

Exactly, it's the best and most tweakable RAT clone i've ever tried. The builder is Sacred Fire INC, a small company here in Northern Italy (https://www.facebook.com/Sacred-Fire-In ... 769824769/). Besides the fact that their pedals look gorgeous they are also built at the state-of-the-art, too bad there are practically no demos online.
Right now i'm selling it but just because i have two big deals on the horizon and no more money to spend until i get rid of something.. it has been my main OD/dist to go for 2 year and i'm already regretting this.

got a new pedalboard yesterday asked my pops to build one since mine was falling apart. I totally spaced and forgot to figure out a spot for the power, but luckily it fits JUST enough with the inifnitphase wall wart on it. also gave him the wrong measurement for the planks going across not quite the looker, but it feels SO GOOD not having to carry my board in 2 pieces I can actually push it around the room now! now to fill the top row

OK so, awesome. How does the DOD 250 pair with the Mini? I can't really resist it at like $50. How does it do really low gain barely dirty stuff? Can it even do that? Do you wish it had a tone control?

Also how does the DD-500 handle getting smacked with the Mini?

I haven't actually paired them yet. The 250 is currently where the OD-3 would be (just experimenting right now) and I just put that lineup together last night and only had about 20 minutes available to play around it. It had been sidelined as it paired better with the Squier Mascis I had vs. the Jaguar I have now. I do like it, though, and at $50 it's a great deal. I noticed last night that even with the gain rolled all the way back, it wasn't really a clean boost (used the Mini for that last night). There's still some grittiness that was pronounced when using the Alter Ego 2.I had a good pairing with it going into the OD-3 or the mbm Rat back when I had the Mascis.

Haven't really used the Mini with the DD500 yet. Will let you know when I get more time with them.

I'm the same man. Have tried some Walrus stuff in the past and haven't gelled with it.

Pleased to say the Julia is different. It's surprisingly awesome! I was in a local shop and tried out a bunch of phasers and then just plugged it in on a whim. The vibrato tones into analog delay and reverb really sound great. It does drop some bottom end (like many Walrus pedals) but not to the point of being a problem (unlike some other Walrus pedals).

For some reason I've been really gassing for a EAR 4096 lately. The only thing holding me back is the price really. Cool setup dude

i haven't had my pedals organized on a board in a while...
but recently, i started to get frustrated with my usual pile of cables & pedals, and all of the plugging/unplugging/tangled cords involved, so i decided to commit to a stable board (for a bit, anyway).
i use this solely for solo guitar stuff. currently for my band, all i use is a volume pedal.
