Alexander F13 came today, holy shit it rules so hard. I've been on a roll with keeper pedals lately. I know the Wizard of Pitch, Heavy Machine and now F13 will be with me for the foreseeable future.

Still waiting on:
EQD Avalanche Run
CT5

Should cover the sounds I need for the projects I'll be working on.

Couldn't resist the temptation of a boutique Fender Blender clone with muff transistors and various doom-friendly mods:

And an impulse buy given an ongoing hankering to try another Harmonic Percolator clone:

Got frustrated with looking for the perfect reverb, and just bought an RV-3 off Craigslist for $80. It'll be a nice place-holder, and I'll probably wind up keeping it regardless of future reverb purchases that inevitably leave me dissatisfied.

Really contemplating keeping it even though it's up because of me wanting another reverb..

So we are Bass Bros now!

Currently frustrated with this bass, because there is no drop in pickup replacement.

What don't you like about the pickup, foo? Can't you get something custom wound?

It's just kind of lifeless. It also happens to be just slightly smaller than EMG sized pickups. Just ordered 500k pots and plan on doing a bass contour in place of tone. We'll see how that works out.
If I can find someone who does mustang pickguards, maybe I'll try to put a darkstar in there.

Mine just came in today. I haven't had the chance to fire it up, yet. But, playing it, out of the box, was great! The neck, omg the neck. Love it. Perfect shape, for me. And, I've always loved satin necks. But, this is the first one I've owned. So far, no issues with the quality of the instrument.

Update: should have just bought the RV-3 to begin with and not wasted about a year shuffling through fancy stuff. I still might pick up something fancy, but I'll hold on to the RV-3. Sounds great wih slide guitar, too.

Yeah, hopefully a pot value change will do some good. I bet a Darkstar would sound great in there.
