Just ordered a classic audio fx volume roller...
Fuzzonaut about the RM-1N:
"Amp in a box"?
No, there's no amp in there - tone fairies and feedback goblins live inside this box.

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
I liked it okay, but wasn't crazy about it - not enough to justify the space it took on my board or the price tag associated with it, anyway.
There were two big strikes against it, in my opinion that just slightly annoyed me at first, and eventually became the only thing I could notice about the pedal. The first is the modulation effect that is impossible to kill. I might be going crazy, and it might be the fact that I generally like to use larger reverb either by itself or only with delay, but I just couldn't get past what, to my ears, sounded compressed and weirdly modulated.
The second is the havoc switch being completely overpowering unless you have the reverb set very low. If the gain knob also canceled out modulation and if the havoc switch had an internal trim pot, the pedal would be amazing for how I like to use reverb.
Anyway, somebody on Craigstlist traded me straight up for the BitQuest, so here we are.
I'll also admit that I cycle through pedals pretty quickly, and will change my mind about them every couple days. With the Meteore, I realized I was trying to make myself like it, and that seems weird and pointless, even though I really like Caroline as a company and Philipe seems like a nice guy whose business I want to support. He already got my money, though, so I guess I did my part.

What is really cool with the bitquest is you everyday can change your mind and just use an another algorithm the other day...

Didn't you say your significant other wasn't gonna let you get stuff that would take up so much space?

I knocked him down to $150. I figured it was worth taking a chance on. Worst case scenario, it will be a cool table.

Trust me, I don't tell her about the things I buy. She is none the wiser so far. "I bought this before I met you"
