So I got the Procession today to possibly replace my Meteore, and now I'm just going to need a bigger board.

Something sexy like this:

I'm not a huge fan of Relic'd guitars (honestly one of the dumbest things that raise the price of a guitar) but I've only seen this configuration in Relic formats, so I've started looking at Gretsch's with either a semi-hollow or solid body and the same pickup/Bigsby configuration.

Either way there aren't any guitars of this caliber near me besides Les Pauls, so any insight would be nice because I'm GAS'ing hard for a guitar this weekend and will likely come home with an order for one tomorrow.

I agree w/ this line of thinking - the build quality won't be Custom Shop caliber, but with a few upgrades (bridge?) it might do the trick:

Maxon BC-01. It's an 80's chorus (this Maxon series was only released in Japan I think) with 2 LFOs that are summed and then affect the same delay line. Which can sound very cool.

I think the Ibanez TC10 (Twin Cam Chorus) is exactly the same with a different box. And the Maxon/Ibanez CS9 are also basically the same pedal but have both LFOs at 0.3-3Hz while the first LFO of the BC-01 and the TC10 is 0.8-8Hz. It's just a one capacitor difference, I think.

I just spent my first 5 minutes with the Folktek Illuminist Garden and it sounds INCREDIBLE..... I don't know what i'm doing yet but i recorded it, haha. Listen in headphones if you can cause the stereo on it is amazing! I'm so so sooooo impressed by the sound quality of this. This is going all over my upcoming EP

Going to plug my guitar into it next!

That's awesome it came in :thumb: Ton of fun to play aren't they :joy:
:excellent:

Yes! It's so much fun. Even more than I thought it will be. I love how interactive every part of it is. I also love the different tones you get hitting the playing going from left to right. I'm really excited to see what happens when I plug my guitar into it as the reverb and delays on it are just incredible. The stereo spread is amazing. I can't wait to run a stereo chain on it and throw different pedals on each side. Having a looper at the end will be great too. Just make a rhythm and play over.

I feel so sad about recording right now, I don't have any time. Anything that doesn't get recorded within a set amount of time (a few months) just gets forgotten. I've forgotten hundreds of songs over the years

No money for gear either.

Welp, snagged a Wizard of Pitch on Reverb. Can't wait for the new CT5 batch to start shipping, I've got big plans for those two together.

Oddly enough I just released another album this past Friday!

Also thanks to everyone who made suggestions RE: Telecaster with TV Jones + Bigsby. I drove pretty far to find some Fender Custom Shop guitars near me and while they were magical, I ultimately decided if I was gonna get something that expensive, I'd go big or go home.

...Well, I went home and then ordered this:

Maybe not super exciting for you, but this just came in. Been looking for a good tremolo for normal kinda amp-like stuff, with tap, and this one popped up and I traded for it

Image

EDIT: feel stupid, I knew it didn't have tap haha
