I would like to voice my support for both sternum and chest pieces on women (and dudes and dudes who were women and women who were dudes and the women and dudes who don't do pronouns at all, etc. but I'm talking about how the ink/artwork frames boobs here because I'm very base).

Yeah I've contemplated upper thigh work, as my skin there is fucking alabaster and totally not damaged by the sun, but I don't do enough leg days.
Plus my wife would be the only person to ever see it...which is not the point of tattoos but it would be a shame to have rad work that you couldn't show off just wearing clothing.

Unless I started getting around in DTs everywhere.

So hey, tech geeks: If I were to have a tattoo of oscillations, what would be the correct symbol? Is there one? My googling mostly turns out diagrams, which might look a bit too geeky, even for me.

Don't think I have any decent photos of my current tattoos, might have to rectify that.

So if you don't have any, just be mindful of what having tats on your forearms can mean. I rarely tell people this, but it is literally a career killer. It's getting better, but make sure you can cover whatever you have. I have hand tats. It's over for me. LOL. I could get one on my fucking face and it wouldn't make a difference now.

I prefer things that are thought out. Regardless of meaning. Just don't make any rash decisions.

I've had tattoos on my fore arms since the early 2000s and never had any trouble. Even working a office/cubicle job. I have a couple friends who have hand tattoos and work at some very major corporations. I've seen nurses with full sleeves too. Not to say that certain jobs and careers won't discriminate but with fore arm tattoos you can always wear long sleeves too.

Oscillation can't be described by a static symbol as it relates to time. The function above will oscillate. If you want a symbol maybe get a standing wave, with two sine waves superimposed on each other with the same frequency?

I've got a list of tattoos that I someday might get and standing waves are high up on that list. I was thinking either multiple different waveforms superimposed over each other. Probably just sine, square, and triangle. Maybe some saw or sigmoid or something weird. Or I was thinking several out of phase sines superimposed over each other.

Yeah that's wicked. If I was more badass, I'd blackout one of my arms but have it degrade into noisey static the further up it went.
