How many of you would buy this for $1,000? Because I just did:

So, what's a good practice bass amp for bedroom dooming?

You will probably not enjoy it, and that's ok.

I got in the Eminence Swamp Thang I ordered for my 1x12 at home today. Loving it so far, great headroom, nice low/low mid punch and not too much high end. All roar and no fizz with my stompboxes, which is a huge deal.

Rad. That's how much I got my black '78 Ric for. Good score. I love mine and will most likely never sell it.

Yup, they sound great together and Matt's artwork is amazing.

I can't keep up with all these awesome BAT releases.

Glad you like it man. I really enjoy mine. I've got my Mesa dialed in very weird in order to cut some fizz but that's not really due to the swamp thang.

I have a spare swamp thing that I really want to build into a 1x12 ported cab a la the Hex giant killer.

Question. So I dig how my Les Paul sounds clean into the Ampeg, but any time I use a dirt pedal there is a really harsh high end that I can't dial out. Any idea what that's about? Something to do with the pickups maybe? Something with how the amp reacts to gain pedals? It's not really a problem with my other guitars, but they are both quite a bit darker than the LP, so maybe I just don't notice it?
