Almost broke pedge. I was thinking about a Ditto or Boss RC-1, but fixing my car cost my entire paycheck, so no Ditto for me. I'll just have to hum.

Bought a Parasit Studio - Sonic Reducer kit. Been messing around with circuit bending the last couple of weeks, but I want to try putting something together. Seems like a fairly simple circuit for a pleb. :)*

I haven't done proper circuit bending in years but I used to be pretty active in that scene about 10 years ago maybe ? Hahah, probably a bit more than that. Anyway, I've organized a few circuit bending workshops and even though my knowledge is probably outdated as fuck I can try to help it necessary :).

The main thing is choosing proper bending targets anyway but unfortunately some of the best things for this (notably 80's digital drum machines) tend to become almost vintage and overpriced these days... :( What kind of stuff did you work on ?

You have several Sobbat pedals, right ? They pop up for sale for decent prices often here, which ones would you recommend ? The Drive Breaker 2 for example can be had for nice prices most of the time...

Just traded a Schecter Hellcat I wasn't using for two (!) new instruments. First is a Pro Martin Custom electric guitar, probably made in the Kasuga factory in the 80s. The other is a Westone Thunder II bass, Matsumoku-made. These babies should be arriving tomorrow: http://imgur.com/a/YVtf7

I'm ridiculously fond of 80s Japanese guitars. :')

Yo you just got someone real good, those guitars are super beautiful. If you were closer to me I'd make a plan to kidnap that bass

Yeah, I tried very hard to not show just how excited I was while asking "are you sure about this"?

With these, I'll own six 80s Japanese guitars and basses... I should probably stop now. But hey, it's GAS. :omg:

Nice. I have one of those, and a couple of others mostly built, but need to order a few IC's. Any ideas what you're going to do for the finish yet?

Yes, I'm putting together a mini board [OD, Fuzz, [maybe a filter or wah not sure thought] Trem, Phase and comp] I already have 2 Katana Sound Bass Superfuzzes , and I've been going through ever OD I have and nothing works as well for me as the bass drive breaker.. even my driver break 1 :idk:

I too am curious about other pedals of theirs. The octave fuzz breaker has my attention big time.
Also, I went on a sobbat/katanasound hunt last night...now there's a minty Venomous Snake fuzz incoming :surprise:

In the post currently:

Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude
Fairfield Circuitry Four Eyes
Pladask Electrisk Romferd

And now I have to move my 8 step program off my pedalboard just to fit all of these. I haven't even got the pedalboard build complete, and its time to order a larger pedalboard. *sigh*

I have 2 [different models] ATM a Bass Driver Breaker and a Drive Breaker 1. They are some of my favorite pedals, the Bass DB is the closest I have come across that gives me that playing a bass through a orange or marshall without losing the rumble with almost every OD pedal that doesn't sound discussing and farty like an cranked SVT does seems to lose… it is based on the Drive Beaker 3..

here is my demos

The Drive Breaker 1 like like a very smooth RAT with a more powerful EQ [goes lower and higher than], flat it's a rather mid-y sound, very well made pedals but the older models are buffered instead of TBP and that buffer doesn't play well with everything, luckily it's easy to tell by just looking at the switch. I need to do a demo one of these days but, it's been around a long time so there is stuff out there… Future Sailors is a big fan of this one as well.

I want to try their fuzz but it's a meh-ish want.. I think any of their ODs would be cool in the end for "normal" OD type sounds to Metalz but they don't do crazy and they don't do the old funky amp sound either… or something.
