It works so very well, I don't understand why more people don't do it. And yep, bike chains! No need for Velcro, which doesn't really work all that well anyways.
I am wary of the havoc switch, seems to always oscillate to near the same tone..kinda like the RM-1N (heresy, I know). I would absolutely love to be proven wrong
Yeah, that's valid. I think the havoc switch is most useful when the regen and size are somewhere somewhere below 10. I usually use it while tremolo picking (#ambientnotes), or doing something simple that's not strumming.
^^^ same. If the reverb is too huge already the havoc gets overpowering, which can be cool, but it decays really fast. That being said, I love my meteore. It's the only pedal that hasn't been getting swapped in and out a ton lately trying to get one small board for two super different groups.

That's something I hadn't thought of, but now that you say it, makes me realize thta I would really like for the havoc switch to be affected by the reverb. That might help it from getting overpowering at higher levels. If the havoc switch could be stomped a few times, quickly, and the oscillation reverberated with whatever the pedal is doing already, it would add for some nice layers of sound. Or something.
