Got some sweet Duncan pickups from conky and tossed 'em into my Gibson V. Black Winter in the bridge and Sentient in the neck. Holy. Crap. I love these pickups.

The Sentient is the first neck pickup that I've ever really liked. It paired well with the Black Winter and Nazgul in the bridge. Glad you're digging them!

On the subject of pickups...i think ive hit the end of the road with the dirty heshers...after those and the black winters ive worked out i like medium output pickups like PAFs and P90's....any suggestions? And who wants to buy my dirty hershers?

If you want to stick with Lace, their Hemis (not the Nitro Hemis) might be up your alley.

I really like the Dimarzio 36th annis. Moderately hot but well balanced PAFs that don't blowout dirt and fuzz pedals.
