I've been thinking about getting a Novak Guyatone goldfoil for a lap steel:

One of each for the win :joy:

Always been a huge fan of gold foils too. I've got a couple old teisco guitars laying around and they are both loaded with three gold foil pups. I'm planning on putting then in SOMETHING easier to play haha, those teisco are pretty rough. was going to put three in my bass VI but couldn't pass on these once I found out they existed.

Might pick up a Squire VIntage Mod VI to put some gold foils in cause I'm convinced that is going to sound insanely good :omg: but now i'm wondering how WRH/Gold foil mix would sound...I think you're onto something good

nice :thumb:
i've never thought to ask him but if novak would make a pedal steel pup i'd probably be all over IT too. i recently put a lace tonebar on my pedal steel and really really happy with its clarity/presentation over the stock pup...but always been extremely pleased with everything i've tried from novak, just beautifully balanced and harmonically rich pups.

Ooh, that looks pretty cray. Yeah, I'd imagine a Lace'd sound great in a pedal steel.

HA! I'm swapping my ED2 for a POG2 this week :animal:

Haha, hey that's cool! The pog2 is cool. Kinda wish I kept it now that I'm building a tabletop rig. Oh well

What kind of music? I'm thinking of using the POG for guitar stuff, but i might try putting it at the front of a dirt chain for widening a harsh noise wall.

Wait, will people really trade a POG2 for an ED2? I would 100% trade my ED2 for a POG2.

I liked using it for drone-y stuff, like fading octaves in and out. I made a track with this, here: https://soundcloud.com/fcknoise/pog2-drone
