So this is my very starter kit board. Looking to build it into something that can pull off a heavily distorted gazy/dream-pop sound (more akin to MBV/dino jr./asobi seksu than the drenched in reverb stuff), especially interested in acquiring pedals that can make the oscillations from open-chords really jump out at you. The phase is basically there bc I wanted a mod pedal that I could practice modding (see what I did there) without feeling to bad if I ruined it, don't really see it having an extended stay. Running it into a Fender HRiii

Anyway, obviously am open to (and grateful for) any suggestions on improving my board toward desired sound. Thanks in advance!

Have you put the fuzz factory first dude? It behaves very differently before and after a buffered pedal.

Rad beginning to a board!

Wow, I haven't even considered that. I'm still getting acquainted with how differently pedals process signals and am still not quite positive I know how each pedal I have handles the signal. Being the noob I am, I actually thought that the boss tuner was true bypass because it has that "bypass" out jack

Yeah man, FF is much gnarlier when placed first. It interacts with your guitar is some strange ways. Keep hanging out here, there are lots of people with boards that do lots of stuff you might be interested in. I second the motion to add reverb...A BitQuest would be a great addition to a smaller board like this (if you can find one).
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

Hahaha, I decided to just pay homage to a good EP instead of creating something witty and original (I guess Pavement did that on some songs as well). Actually kinda going for some of the overdriven sounds they got in the early days. Circa 1762 is a good example
