I just accidentally a Yamaha Reface YC.
An exhibition model from a shop in Osaka was on sale, even with the shipping costs it means that I can buy the nice carrying case if I want later and I'll have paid the same price as a normal one.

I think I can get a nice portable melodic-drony setup with that, a few pedals (Mini, Context, Boss DD20 and EHX22500 for example) and optionally my small modular.

I just got one too (albeit on purpose)!
I'd been tinkering with it on the couch through headphones and feeling pretty good about it. Then I plugged it into my bass stack (410+115) at practice and . It is awful cute, but definitely not a toy.

Yeah, I tried one in shops several times and even without external effects the thing sounded really good. I've been using my Casio SK1 (actually Concertmate 500) for years for this kind of sounds, this one is basically these sounds but much better and with tons of additional possibilities, and I can use it to play my MicroModular (or Volca Keys) too. NO RAGRETS.

And it was accidental because I didn't expect to buy one yesterday .

Got rid of some stuff I wasn't using for an RV-6 today, it's fucking great. Modulated reverb is hella useful/brand new sounding, the echo mode is a more compact RV-3, the shimmer sounds good on synths, the dynamic mode is cool but I haven't messed with it much.

I'm really stoked to have a Fuck again it's my favorite overdrive and the only reason I got rid of my last one is because I wanted momentary crackle. It just took me too long to replace.
