They're Lace Alumitones and I think skully's the guy to talk to about 'em (amongst others). He really seems to love 'em.

Alumitones are awesome. High volume, awesome clarity and output. Very, very full range and articulate. I swear you can hear what the guitar is made of using them.

The alumitones are truly amazing. Have one in my main guitar on the neck and 2 in my bass. Very full and warm sound. Almost noiseless. Closer to a natural tone, work well with fuzz and modulation. And they look bad ass.

I'm wondering if Lace will anodize some purple ones for me. :D

You can get them in blue and red, and they do custom engravings, wouldn't hurt to ask.

I'm this close to trading my TimeLine for a big box DMM. I even made another thread about it. I just need to keep venting and reeling it over.

I'm saving up for the II also...seems like the II has more random modes (which are awesome) but the DT has more sample time (4sec) with more reverse modes (so more ambient I guess versus the glitchier II???)

That was my understanding at least...I'm also on the list for the vario.

You're going to love it, ST. It is an amazing pedal I am sure.

I would say that's a pretty good way to differentiate them. II is more random, and the DT has more loop time and more reverse. Though, you can get a little more accurate with your glitches on the II - the whole span of the Time knob on the II is between 7-9 o'clock on the DT.

Nabbed me this thing a few days back:

Never had an FY-6 before and it's actually way more fun than I was expecting. Love the upper octave thing you get when you roll of the guitar volume.
