Yeah no, I don't regret ever scaling down from my PT-pro. I love pedals but there's a point that I was spending a lot more time trying to remember settings and combinations than actually getting anything done. I'm no Nick Reinhart. :idk:

I've been rolling with this for some time now and using all new pedals and vintage effects on smaller boards but about to tear this one down and start from scratch

Holy shit, Ruiner.

How are you using the ARF? I've been intrigued by it for a while, but for drum machines mostly.

I've just been using it like this for a long time now and have a ton of pedals and want to see how others interact with each other. I love the setup and i have a picture if i ever want to go back. I won't be changing EVERYTHING but i will be swapping out quite a few. Some of these combinations will be going on another board.

I also have a "blank board" that i just put together quickly every time i want to use something which is a lot of fun for finding new sounds or only concentrating on a few pedals at a time. I want to mix some of these pedals in that mix without constantly moving them on and off.

I'm also going to add some small loop pedals (w/ and w/o buffers) to some larger effects units like my Binson, Space Case, Space Echo, Scanner, etc so i can integrate those with my main setup for recording purposes. Easy to do with the ES8 setup so just need to make room and swap a few things out.

Some older pedals i've been missing and some newer pedals need their turn... that's all.

Man i love the ARF so much but i found i like it even more in the loop of the TT1100 so that's where i have it right now.

Haven't done a any recording like that yet though.... but when i first got it i had a lot of fun pairing it with the Procession. I love the momentary switch as a ramp for your OD sound. I recorded that application here as a test:

hey ruiner - how do you like the ES-8? I was tempted, but I need more than 1.5 stereo loops to make it worthwhile to me. Though, I probably could have a blast with it on a 2nd board.
