how does the sound quality and features of the BIM compare to other pedal based delays? it seems really sick but I'm not sure I'm willing to throw down that much on any delay pedal

this is just straight out of the manual, not sure I knew it had all these features and they might be easily found online but here they are anyways. pretty impressive

3.27 seconds in stereo
12-bit converters, analog limiter, companders, filters and feedback path
4 delay types; Normal, Dual Head, Disto, Lo-Fi
Delay Hi-Pass filter: 20hz, 100hz, 250hz, or 500hz
Delay Low-pass filter: 16khz, 8khz, 4khz, or 2khz
Feedback filters: flat, lo cut, hi cut or both
LFO with 4 waveforms and 4 rate ranges (from 0.025hz to 147hz)
Tap Tempo w/sub-division settings
Freeze switch w/normal or reverse play
Delay input gain from 0 to +15dB
36 user presets
MIDI input: clock, cc and pgm change
3 bypass modes: Relay, Spillover and Aux

still have a LOT of exploring to do lol. sounds really really nice.

ad999 is one of the few delays i have yet to try for some reason... still curious. Congrats!

And that Heisenberg  The way that pedal works when explained by Just Nick in the demo is absolutely nuts! Looking forward to your thoughts on it.

So i've heard... i don't know what it is... i just never had the GAS for it. I'm sure i'll check it out at some point and slap myself for waiting so long...

I'm pretty happy with my delay arsenal though.
