Yay to nick! And yay to staying sober!
I started drinking around 7 months ago after being sober for 14 years. I'm in a much more stable state of mind now that I don't feel trapped in a mental cell, conforming to the crowd I used to hang with. Anyways, I support drinking and sobriety both equally. Whatever makes people feel good about themselves :)

Also, I'm thinking of getting a Matamp even though I don't need one. But I don't have any modern amps where I don't need to worry about maintained and shit going off. My Sound City still keeps overheating, as well as the V4. Goddamn it. I think I'm day drunk but I wanted to say hi to everyone. Hiiiiii

I doubt anyone does. I'm just odd like that and certain things will stick in my head. I will shoot you a pm soon and get your email. I've got a handful of people reading over the current draft, I will probably hit you up with a draft that incorporates some of the changes to see how they sit with a fresh reader :thumb:

I remember the fried gravy.

I didn't drink for a lot of years and I was pretty happy and it ruled. Now I'm in a different part of my life and I drink a lot and enjoy it quite a bit. Different things work at different times. It's just important to know what works for you and be able to recognize when what you're doing isn't working as well anymore.

I still don't care about beer, but lately I have been drinking more rum on the weekend because I can and it actually helps me focus more while painting. But it's completely take or leave thing, if I don't have it I am not bothered even if I have it I don't need to drink it.

never had any sort of dependence on it one way or another. drank more when I was much younger and then completely stopped for awhile then went where I'll drink occassionally. I guess it all depends on what I'm planning on doing or doing the next day, cause hell I still don't even get hungover.

I picked up a new bass a couple months ago for $150. Peavey patriot, made in the USA, with the super ferrite pickup still in it. I love these pickups, it brings the doom for sure. Also, congrats Nick! Glad to see your hard work paid off.

Won two tickets to Deafheaven in Seattle tomorrow night. Not even a huge fan, but I listened to their new album and it's not half bad. Contemplating whether or not I'll make the drive.

that Peavey is cool.

Copeland...that great man...im not a fan of Deafheaven either, but if i had free tickets I'd go. Live music is always cool to check out.

also...new band...band name agreed and soundcloud set up (check out sig)...still gotta perfect the songs, but really stoked with how its progressing

also...might have a job when my contract ends...so my stress is settling a bit today

thanks man...i was using dunwich HM2 into my fender combo which was on full tilt...the other guy is using small amount of amp distortion from his Krank with black cat bass fuzz on top. We'll get better recording this week...i'll have my half stack back, and his got a bunch of new pedals which includes a HM2 and he'll run his amp clean. Im thinking of taking my Rat as well...2 HM2's might not work well together...we'll see.
