The SFA designs were based on their custom shop offerings, but built in Korea to keep costs down for heathens and mortals like us. The awesome thing is they use really great cuts of wood and have true set necks instead of bolt on. Real flame on the top too!

I'm going to throw a Phat Cat into the bridge and call it a day

Nice guitar. Strange business model, that First Act is a manufacturer of a.) Awesome custom shop guitars and b.) guitar-shaped toilets, with no middle ground that I'm aware of.

I really like Matt Pike's custom shop First Act 9-string. Chorusing only the treble strings is a solid and practical idea.

Yeah, I think the fact that they didn't have a separate name for their custom offerings is why they ultimately had to close the custom shop. Which is a shame because they were doing awesome and different work, especially back a few years before today when everything is just Fender worship.

I'm stoked to try it out for sure. Going to clean it up, drop the phat cat into the bridge, maybe upgrade the pots and switch, and then play the hell out of it

Let me get acclimated to it first! :joy:

If you're curious though, this is the very first sound I sequenced with it right out of the box. I haven't even gotten into all the modular stuff yet! Fucking incredible synth for only $600

Impulse bought a black muff off a country blues man, it is the cleanest muff I've seen.

Maths is super useful as a multi-faceted utility. I did use it as a dual oscillator too when I got my first small batch of modules and the "proper" osc was not arrived yet :).

Also, I apparently ordered this yesterday :

I'm disappointed that they did not include any trigger-based external sync though.
Still, I've been only using my DD20 for looping for maybe 8 years and this should open new possibilities (sound sources -> DD20 -> 22500)...

I wish the videos I watched help me understand it a little bit, there is so much to it though! I guess it's one of those things where I'll just have to constantly use it and figure it out on my own, which is my favorite way to figure out things anyway.

Those loopers look super cool, I wonder how they compare price wise to other loopers. I do really like the features that it has though so I'm interested in your opinion.

You could probably jumper a switch/trigger jack over off the stop/tap one...

Or figure out what kind of signal the FC jack takes (don't really know how they are doing it...probably somekind of pulse?) and do something that way?

But it kind of ruins the pedal haha...but I am sure it is possible.

Curious to hear your thoughts on it too...Be nice to have a looper around...(that isn't on something else)
