It seems to be my dreamed "instant tape processing" device with the repeat and delay set near to zero.
Please tell me I'm wrong, for my wallet sake!
But the echo degrader does only tape delay, doesn't it? I'm looking for a tape feel in REAL TIME, like if I play through an old tape deck with all the subtle pitch bends, time stretching, chorusy and tape compression. Was also thinking about the Deco

If you roll back the time on the ED it's real time, but you'll be playing through a really old tape. Think overdrive, borderline distortion. Its tasty, but it's not that subtle warped vinyl vibe you might be looking for.

In fact I think I'm more into subtle "clean" tape sim because I already have the dirty/dark/saturated spring sound of the RM1N and so I think I wouldn't like something dirtier

What about the Mid-Fi Clari(not)? It warbles cleanly, right?

tasty indeed but it really darkens your tone. in an awesome way and all, but just in case your looking for something more tame/pure warble. I thought the Deco was incredible for that.UglyCasanova wrote:If you roll back the time on the ED it's real time, but you'll be playing through a really old tape. I use it with my VI, so darker is welcome.resincum wrote:tasty indeed but it really darkens your tone. in an awesome way and all, but just in case your looking for something more tame/pure warble. reposting this in here from the Shark Tank
Skipped lunch today (at like 5pm,
) to play with the Cooper FX AARP I got in the tourbox. So playing the studio's house guitar (Gibson LP double cutaway) through a Fender Twin Reverb. Clean no other FX.
First impressions from plugging it in, I very much like it. It's got some quirks, and it takes some work to get a universal sound. There are a lot of sounds to get out of here, but a lot of them sound good on one set of notes, but not others. That's the nature of pitch shifting, I guess. There are definitely plenty of sounds you can dial in and just jam on. But this isn't a pedal for people who just want it to sound good on every setting.
Super impressed, already finding neat tricks. I am a particular fan of leaving my foot on the reset switch and triggering the effect by letting go when I want a little excitement thrown in.
Little clip I snapchatted earlier. Nice little universal shimmer and excitement setting with my most overused 2 chord progression.

Very excited to get this thing going with fuzz and other pedals.

Boss DSD-2 My favorite delay sound, ever. Just clear and clean repeats, no problem. While I didn't really get the hang of the sampler functionality, yet, I already love the delay.
skullservent Fingerprint clone With fuzz, I feel like there is a matrix with a like/dislike axis and a understand/totally don't get it axis. After my limited time, I firmly like and don't get the Fingerprint. It will take time to get it right, but even the wrong sounds are pleasing.
Fuzz Goddess Atomizer Limited Jesus tap-dancing Christ is this thing loud. I have to keep the volume are like 8 o'clock. Square wave. velcro, and nuts.

I love the sound of the DSD's repeats so much. The sampler is cool, but somewhat fidgety; the delay trigger function is the killer app with the DSDs imo. Have fun! One of my favorite delays....

Getting a Moog Minifooger Chorus sometime tomorrow. Trading my Coven for it plus some cash. Pretty excited to test it out with the expression pedal. Feels good, man.
