That Acapulco Gold on bass sounds nice, actually tried that combo out last night for the first time after seeing Jack Donovan of Elder has been using one in his bass rig lately. My Gibson Grabber sounds absolutely crushing through it.

Incoming-Mountainking Rukus and Earthquaker Acapulco Fuzz. Couldn't pass up the deals. Sigh.

:joy: Hope you like the Ruckus II.

I need to hear your thoughts on the Ruckus II on bass, I've come close to ordering one many times but there's no good demos out there. PM me in case I miss it.

It's not on the Mountainking website anymore (maybe discontinued?).
Jwar got mine from the BST. Can't wait to know how it is on bass too. :joy:

BUT WILL YOU LOOK AT THIS
It's planned to be a Eurorack module before being a stand alone box.
This might actually get me into Eurorack.

yeah. that. that is SECHSY. when they have a standalone version totes going to grab one to pair with mines Now Owned Guy.

they got back to me, $25 to cover the shipping and any internal, not cosmetic, damage. so that's good. REALLY good.

Did you try using........ a battery?

And if not that did you try a power supply?

lol. yeah. tried, and LICKED, 4 different batteries. no go. i didna plug in a psu because i remembered there was something funky about theirs, but couldna remember what.

they said use a "regulated 9 volt tip-positive power adapter". i'm going to swing by Radio Shack and grab one i guess? i would actually way prefer keeping it plugged in.

lol. i'm a git about so many things. is that going to be a hard adapter to find? i know Boss ones are tip...... negative? what's the difference?

WHY NOT USE THE STANDARD THAT I HAVE LIKE 12 OF LYING AROUND.

Yeah it's positive, not negative. Should be an easy adapter to find, though.

Alan assured me the Ruckus and Huge Box Twos are coming back soon. I know he has a revision planned for the Huge Box, maybe for the Rucks also? I've been helping him a tiny bit with some of the pedal descriptions for his web site, I only gave him a little bit of feedback, but quite honored to be asked, and a few pointers I offered ended up on the page! :thumb:

You're lucky to have a good relation with Alan. He build cool effects.
When I ordered from him it was a nightmare.
