Mr Grumpy will also be so loud that Billy Mays comes back from the dead to snort Oxy-Clean off of the shattered windows and knocks a payment off of your purchase if you call within the next 5 minutes.

Plus you've put the competition out of business by shattering all their stock.

If I could go to heavy riff church, I wouldn't care about not being able to start a band.ShaolinLambKiller wrote:Now can we figure out how to be a tax exempt church so we can actually start a First Church of Amplifer worship. or Drone Chapel. or anything.

Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition
That's what I want it to be basically. I think I outlined it here long ago. Midnight masses, evening masses. Just total drone and huge riffs through monster rigs. Bring your own or borrow one to participate.

I wanted to form my own religion for the tax dodge. It would worship sex, drugs, booze and all the other fun things life has to offer.Corey Y wrote:If I could go to heavy riff church, I wouldn't care about not being able to start a band.ShaolinLambKiller wrote:Now can we figure out how to be a tax exempt church so we can actually start a First Church of Amplifer worship. or Drone Chapel. or anything.

Have a look at this week's Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, he explains how it's done. Episode 25.ShaolinLambKiller wrote:Now can we figure out how to be a tax exempt church so we can actually start a First Church of Amplifer worship. or Drone Chapel. or anything.

Buy some of your competitors' windows, and do a demo where Grumpy breaks the shit out of them. Then do a similar demo next to your windows, but here's the thing, they don't break. BOOM - NEW MOTHERFUCKING COMMERCIAL and your business goes through the roof and your amp is now a viable tax write off. TRIPLE WIN.

Rearranged and finally almost unpacked the last 5% of the townhouse that's still been sitting in boxes after 3 months.
My gear had been against the wall in our bedroom, in the closet of our bedroom, downstairs, in the kitchen. Now it's all in one room.

Re: Post Your Rig: Doom Edition
Been messing around modding some Peavey Windsors. Modded one with el34s, and one with 6l6wxt. Sounding pretty awesome.
Couple Tone stack mods. I did 6 different MID Voicings on rotary switch (polystyrene caps) mounted in Between/below Mid and Treble pots (not shown in pic). moved bass peak much lower in Hz. Added an Adjustable Gain pot to control Gain on last preamp tube. Mercury Magnetics Choke. Removed/disabled TEXTURE control. This is now location of Variable Gain pot.
I really like the Mid switching. Makes it alot easier to get different guitars to sound how i want. For instance my Warmoth has Dirty Heshers, my LTD Viper has Nitro Hemis, and my Epi Les Paul baritone has the stock pickups. Where the warmoth is muddy on the lowest Mid setting (lower Mid Peak Hz), the LP Baritone sounds very good, etc, etc.
My Rickenbacker 4003 also sounds freaking awesome through both amps now that there is ALOT more bass available.
Lot of variable sounds possible and mostly with NO PEDALS. first amp i've had where i really did not feel the need to add ANY pedals. but on Lo Gain they sound great too.
More sounds then my Hovercraft Dwarvenaut. I've never opened up the HOvercraft. So didn't "copy" anything directly from that, even though there is nothing different done to Hovercrafts than any amp builders having been doing/modding for 30+ years. Everything i've added i came up with from lots of reading and studying of JCM800. Lot of 'UNGOOPED' info out there.

Dude that sounds (and looks) rad as hell.
Dude from Fight Amp uses a windsor too, correct?
You should coax some liller sounds out of that!
