The cab is a half-DIY build. I ordered an empty 1x12 from Seismic and they sent me this behometh open-back orange square (I think they got the order wrong) when I wanted a smaller closed-back cab. It would've cost me as much as I paid to ship it back for an exchange so I decided to cut 6" off of the back, made it a closed-back, re-Tolexed it, and put a different grill fabric on. I also painted some hardware, added a different handle, reinforced the interior, and smoothed out some of the cheaper woodwork done on it. Very happy with how it came out, it's baby blue/oxblood and matches my couch. It's got a 12" Swamp Thang in it because: doom room.

Here are some photos of the cab: http://imgur.com/a/N9UzK

How do you like the Phant-O-Matic?

Thanks guys!

D'Arcy: great videos! Definitely sold me on the OBNE Procession. You should check out Abominable Effects of you haven't already. Really cool shit.

As for the Wilshire: I love it. Really quality instrument for not a lot of money (and I got it on steep discount with a coupon last year). Slim neck, lightweight body, looks cool as fuck, and I actually use their notch filter switch thingy and have been preferring it to a tone knob. With the SD Black Winter and Invader pickups it's doomed out. I do want a bass or a Bass VI- the Squier one looks good but also looks like I'd have to do some work on it because apparently the bridge is fucked from the factory and causes string buzz? But yeah the Phant-O-Matic is really really nice for a <$500 guitar. When I replaced the pups I was surprised at how clean the electronics were considering I heard horror stories from the lower-priced Epi Wilshires.

Also running an OBNE Procession reverb before dirt makes everything fucked in the best way.

That thing looks like a shit load of fun! Been tossing up between the RM-1N or a Gravitas, and you've got both! Nice work!

Going to swap out the Reverberator for an RM-1N and really want to add a Gravitas or Warped Vinyl, but otherwise does me pretty well. Sometimes I swap out the Fuck for a Fuzzrocious Demon, and the TAFM for a Suneater.

The RM-1N definitely gets more playtime on my board than the Gravitas. I think I use the Gravitas for two songs and for mangling drones from the RM-1N in between songs. I mean, I do use it a lot, but the RM-1N is just soooo versatile and destructive.

Nice board btw! That top row must be so dreamy to run all that dirt through. Those stamped SSBS's are just amazing looking. Can't wait for my TAFM to arrive. :animal:

Have you thought about rehousing the 141's in a single enclosure? I mean, you would loose the ability to put them in different parts of the chain, but on the other hand it would look rad as fuck. :snax:

I could probably get by with a muuuch smaller board, but I can't bring myself to it.

Thanks for making me sing the Space Jam theme song.

I don't know. A dual pedal would be fucking rad if Dana would design it as if the two had just melted together (drool), but as you say; gotta throw them around a bit. :snax:

I can never compete with the classy boards, but this will do me. The DIY pedal is an FY-6 super fuzz. The second toggle removes the diodes.

Is that some kind of Rat clone at the end?

Terminal is FY-2 based right? Damn boy you crazy. What is that Steel pedal at the end of the chain?

It's a Keeley Stahlhammer. It's not really a Rat, but sounds pretty close. There's not much info on the website either, though I read that it's a Rat with a Marshall tone stack for what that's worth.

I was after an alternative to a Rat, and I'm still on the fence about it as far as that goes, but I do really like it for the most part.

Love it. How are you using the two DL4s? Re-looping? One for delays? It looks like you have some kind of mod on at least one of them with the added stomp switch...

Yes, the Terminal is an FY-2 fuzz with more volume (maybe too much actually) and a couple of tone controls. I like the approach they've taken, keeping the fuzz 'stock' and just adding controls that presumably help it stand out in a live mix, which is all this fuzz really needs.

ss/bs Mini is a good Rat alternative. It's not based on it or anything, but I definitely get the same kinds of OD/Grindy distortion tones.
